in the middle of the day, down in my seat,
in a mode of pretention under the performance heat,
reminscing my past life when i was happy and gay,
but at present for me, its just another day!
i think of days and i think of nights
which were spent in excruciating delight
those memories come in shades of grey
but today for me, its just another day!
never went a day without a contradiction,
but who cared, not once we had any impending apprehension.
now thinking of ahead, puts me into fray,
but still today, ah, its just another day!
what future will bring no one can comprehend
but i can shape it, yes, i have that bend
there are miles to go, before i find my way,
nevertheless, the friday today, is just another day!
its just another day, when i think about the future
wondering how much to travel before i hit my trove-treasure
there will be a moment when, with head held high , i will say
no its not just another day, this is the day!!
